I'm Nayana Doshi, a homemaker. I was living happily with my family when I noticed a lump in my breast. I was quite nervous as I'm the pillar for my family. My husband assured me that there are many treatments for cancer. We first went to Dr. Mahendra Gandhi who recommended a mammography sonography test. He suggested surgery after reviewing my reports and introduced us to Dr. Manoj Lokhande at Onco-life. I had surgery followed by Histopathological examination where the tumor was found to be malignant. After reviewing my reports, Dr. Lokhande suggested Chemotherapy. Our financial condition was fragile, but Dr. Lokhande informed us that Chemotherapy & Radiation therapy could be included in the Government scheme. The staff at Onco-life were very kind & supportive, making us feel among family. The doctors & nurses care about each patient & try their best to put patients & their families at ease. The social work that Onco Life has started is really commendable.The reason for writing like this is because my brother Shri.Abhijit Suresh Durve. He was suffering from Cancer, problem started in the year 2018-19. We then admitted him to Yashwant Hospital, Doctor asked for surgery brain tumor. Even after nearly 13 hours of surgery, he lost his sight in 2019 and then stopped walking. He became very serious then we admitted him to Ajinkyatara Hospital. There, Dr. Tapase suggested us to go to Onco Life. When we brought him to the OncoLife, Dr. Siddhesh Sir reassured us. He gave him a very nice treatment. The specialty of this hospital is that it gives us a mixture of love and affection in the treatment. The hospital staff Doctors, Nurses, Care Takers and Radiation team cooperated a lot. We thankful to them for all this, Today, on July 14, I took him to the hospital again but on his own foot. It was very heartwarming to see this moment, I remembered the day I brought him for the first time and I am very happy to see him walking today. My father was diagnosed with Bone cancer which led to our family members getting worried & stressed. After some research, we got to know about this hospital & decided to meet Dr. Ravi Wategaonkar for the same. Since we are not from a well to do background, costs of cancer treatment was worrisome. Since the hospital has MJPJAY Scheme facility, it was a boon for us. We didn't have to pay any money & all the treatment was covered under the scheme. The quality of care & attentional here is phenomenal. In all my lifetime, I have never seen any hospital treating patients & us this nicely. Now my father is feeling much better. The hospital has focussed highly on its cleanliness standards. The staff is very co-operative. When I arrived at this hospital for the first time, I wondered how could poor people like us afford treatment at this hospital? When i was brought to the hospital for the first time,I couldn't walk at all. I used a wheelchair. After taking the suggested treatment by Oncologists here, I am now able to walk properly like a normal person & feeling much better than before.Our all treatment has been paid by MJPJAY scheme with the hospital's help only & i am very grateful to this hospital for everything they have done for me. I am a resident of Mumbai because of my job. I had one small tumor in my mouth & went to Manavta Curie Hospital (Borivali). After surgery, there were no diagnosis for the same. A few months later there was a recurrence & I met the doctor again but plainly refused to treat me any further. I went to KEM hospital, Mumbai but they asked to me get treated in TATA Memorial Hospital. I got admitted in TATA for 12 days but they hadn't started any treatment. Out of utter frustration, I asked for a discharge. After some days, I got a call from TATA Memorial Hospital asking me to get admitted again for surgery. Same thing happened again. After over a week of admission & no surgery, I took voluntary discharge and came to my village satara.

I am a resident of Satara city itself. I had a tumor in my breast & a surgeon from satara city itself removed it & gave it for biopsy. It was then known to us that I was suffering from Breast Cancer. I completed my Chemotherapy treatment somewhere in early 2018. When i was diagnosed with cancer, i was very fearful & anxious of coming to the hospital. Coming to a cancer hospital can be very scary but at Onco-Life Cancer Centre, the staff & doctors were so warm & kind. They counselled me so well. The counselors were constantly talking to me & trying to help me remove my mental fear. Being from a poor background, i thought i would not be able to afford the treatment looking at all the posh facilities they had. But i got treated under MJPJAY scheme free of cost. Now i am cured of cancer & asked to do my routine follow-ups. One of my friend named Tanaji Kade too underwent treatment here & is cured too. ASHOK GADHAVE

I am a Breast Cancer Survivor. When i had my first baby boy, There was a tumor detected in my Breast. I was asked to get a surgery done.Post Surgery we came to know that it was just a fibroid. It was a relief but didn't last really long. After 3 months, i again had a recurrence. After tests, there was a tumor detected again & our surgeon from other hospital insisted me on getting the Breast removed to which we agreed. In 2015 the Surgery took place & my Breast was removed. Shortly after, again i had a recurrence & that is when i started losing hope & started becoming more anxious. I then opted for natural therapy of Ayurveda & homeopathy. It didn't help. In-fact after some months it had grown to a great extent. My doctor then recommended me to get Radiation Therapy started with immediately. I was asked to visit Onco-Life Cancer Centre. I had gone there with minimal hope due to constant recurrence. The Radiation Oncologist there & Chairman Mr. Uday Deshmukh explained to us the diagnosis & treatment in detail. Mr. Uday Deshmukh also helped us with financial aspect as we were short of funds. It was a great help. Never seen anyone do that. The People in hospital were very sweet & co-operative. Being a new hospital back then, yet the management was smooth with its operations. Its been over 4 years now i have had no recurrence & doing my follow-ups as per their guidance. I am very thankful to Onco-Life & everyone associated with it from the bottom of my heart.
