When Top Cancer Experts Across India Come Together – For You

At Onco-Life Cancer Centre, we believe that no patient should have to fight cancer alone — and no doctor should make decisions in isolation for complex cases. That’s why we’re proud to be among the select few cancer hospitals in India affiliated with TATA Memorial Hospital under the National Cancer Grid (NCG).

This allows us to present your case to some of the top cancer experts across the country, ensuring that your treatment plan benefits from multiple expert opinions — all without you ever needing to leave the hospital.

What is a Virtual Tumour Board?

A Virtual Tumour Board is a weekly meeting (held via video conference), where doctors from different specialties – like Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Pathology, and Radiology – come together to discuss difficult or rare cancer cases.

At ICTRC Onco-Life Cancer Centre, we:

  • Present complicated or rare cancer cases for joint evaluation
  • Get inputs from leading oncologists from across India
  • Refine and improve treatment plans with nationwide expert insights
  • Help patients access second or third opinions without extra cost or travel
Who Participates?
  • Onco-Life’s in-house team of oncologists, surgeons, and specialists
  • Doctors from TATA Memorial Hospital, Mumbai
  • Experts from other renowned cancer hospitals in India
  • Pathologists, radiologists, and even genetic counselors when required
Why It Matters to You
  • Better Treatment Planning – Complex cases get deeper review from many top doctors
  • Peace of Mind – You know your diagnosis and treatment plan is reviewed by national experts
  • Access to Cutting-Edge Insights – If your case requires rare therapies or trials, we find them
  • No Extra Cost – This is part of our standard approach for critical cases
  • No Extra Travel – You benefit from nationwide consultation without going anywhere
Example Scenarios
  • A rare type of cancer where standard treatments may not apply
  • A case that has not responded well to earlier treatments
  • Cancer that has spread or returned after remission
  • High-risk surgeries requiring multi-specialist guidance
  • Cases involving multiple organs or complex imaging findings
How We Keep You Informed

After the tumour board discussion:

  • Your assigned doctor will personally explain the collective findings
  • You will be guided through the next steps in your treatment
  • If needed, we’ll provide documentation for insurance or referrals
You Stay Here. The Experts Come to You.

Our goal is to offer big-city expertise with hometown comfort. You don’t need to travel to Mumbai, Delhi, or Bengaluru — because the minds from there are already working with us through the Virtual Tumour Board.

Your Case Deserves Every Perspective

Because cancer isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your care shouldn’t be either. At ICTRC Onco-Life Cancer Centre, our Virtual Tumour Board ensures that your treatment is not only the best we can offer — it’s the best that India can offer.
