Mr. Yashwant Kokate is a dynamic and accomplished healthcare professional with a unique blend of expertise across Information Technology, Hospital Administration, Quality Management, and Pharmacy Operations. With a strong academic foundation and over a decade of hands-on experience in healthcare institutions, he exemplifies holistic leadership in modern hospital systems management.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from Mumbai University and an MBA in Human Resources & Hospital Management from the prestigious Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai. His multidisciplinary education laid the foundation for his ability to align technology, people, and processes in the complex environment of oncology care.

Mr. Yashwant Kokate began his career in healthcare administration at Kolhapur Cancer Centre, where he served as Head of Administration and IT for 2 years. During this tenure, he was instrumental in implementing hospital IT systems and ensuring seamless administrative operations, especially in high-sensitivity oncology settings.

In 2015, he joined Onco-Life Cancer Centre, and over the years has grown to become a core pillar of the organization’s leadership team. As the current Head of Information Technology, he also plays a multi-functional leadership role that spans:

• Design, Implementation & Monitoring of IT Systems and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)

• Pharmacy Department Oversight – including inventory control, billing compliance, and audit readiness

• Quality Assurance Initiatives – leading audits and compliance for NABH, QCI, and other regulatory frameworks

• Administrative System Design – developing operational SOPs, process automation, and workflow integration across departments

What sets Mr. Kokate apart is his ability to bridge technical systems with human-centric care, ensuring that digital solutions are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with the hospital’s mission to deliver compassionate cancer care. His strategic foresight and collaborative leadership style have been critical in building a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and digital excellence across Onco-Life’s multiple locations.
