Specialize in preparing, dispensing, and managing chemotherapy and other oncology medications safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense oncology drugs.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
- Counsel patients on medication use and side effects.
- Maintain inventory of oncology medications.
- Ensure compliance with drug handling safety protocols.
- Coordinate with oncologists for dose adjustments.
- Document medication administration and wastage.
Qualifications & Experience:
B.Pharm/M.Pharm with experience in oncology pharmacy preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Attention to detail, knowledge of oncology drugs, safety compliance, and patient counseling.
