Dr Dhiraj Khadakban is a young , dynamic Surgical Oncologist with a work experience of more than 12 years. He did his MBBS from D.Y. Patil Institute, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. Post MMB he received his General Surgery training and Degree from B.J.Sasoon Medical College and Research Centre, Pune. During his training, he developed a deep interest in Onco surgery. To pursue his dream he took up the post of Senior Resident at S.L.Raheja Hospital, Mumbai for 1 year following which he received his Training over 3 years in Surgical Oncology at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Kerala .

During this period he developed special interest in Head and Neck Cancer management with local free flap reconstruction, GI onco surgery management (Laparoscopic and open).

He worked as a Surgical Oncologist at Railway Hospital, Byculla for a period of 6 months.

After gaining a vast experience in oncology, he decided to start free-lance practise in his hometown,

On a social front, he was associated with NGO- Doctors Without Borders and has performed >1000

PICC line insertions and >600 chemo port insertions for their patients over a period of 4 years.

Over the last 12 years, he has performed >500 Head and Neck cancer surgeries, >100 Laparoscopic

GI cancer surgeries, and 45 thoracic oncology cancer surgeries
