Best Oral/Paper Presentation Award – Oncology Conundrums 2024, New Delhi
Dr. Jyoti Mehta, Consultant at Onco-Life Cancer Centre, was honoured with the prestigious Best Oral/Paper Presentation Award at Oncology Conundrums 2024, a national academic meeting held in New Delhi from 17th to 19th May 2024. Organised under the guidance of the Indian Society of Oncology, Metro Heart Institute, Nanak Health Foundation, and Spring Hope Cancer Foundation, the conference brought together leading oncologists, researchers, and academicians from across the country.
Dr. Jyoti Mehta’s presentation, titled “Is Organ Preservation Really Meant Organ Preservation in Head and Neck Cancers?” stood out for its depth of research, clinical relevance, and practical insights. Her work addressed a critical and evolving question in modern oncology whether organ preservation protocols truly achieve functional preservation in head and neck cancer patients, or if treatment morbidity alters real-world outcomes.
The scientific committee recognised her for delivering a presentation that combined strong clinical evidence, clear analysis, and meaningful implications for treatment decision-making. Her contribution adds value to the nationwide discourse on refining cancer care pathways using NCCN guidelines.

Certificate of Excellence – AROICON 2019 (41st Annual Conference of AROI)
Dr. Jyoti Mehta was honoured with a prestigious Certificate of Excellence at AROICON 2019, the 41st Annual Conference of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), held at the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre (GUCEC), Ahmedabad, from 28th November to 1st December 2019. AROICON is one of India’s most respected academic platforms in oncology, bringing together leading radiation oncologists, researchers, and academicians from across the country.
Dr. Mehta secured First Prize in the E-Poster (Oral Presented Paper) – Best Innovative Paper (Break Session) category, recognising her outstanding scientific contribution and presentation excellence. Her work was appreciated by the scientific committee for its innovation, clinical relevance, and ability to address critical challenges in the evolving field of radiation oncology. The presented paper demonstrated her strong academic orientation, analytical skills, and commitment to improving patient-centred cancer care through evidence-based practices.
The certification also carried 12 CME credit points, awarded by the Gujarat Medical Council, further acknowledging the academic merit and scientific value of the presented research.
