I'm Nayana Doshi, a homemaker. I was living happily with my family when I noticed a lump in my breast. I was quite nervous as I'm the pillar for my family. My husband assured me that there are many treatments for cancer. We first went to Dr. Mahendra Gandhi who recommended a mammography sonography test. He suggested surgery after reviewing my reports and introduced us to Dr. Manoj Lokhande at Onco-life. I had surgery followed by Histopathological examination where the tumor was found to be malignant. After reviewing my reports, Dr. Lokhande suggested Chemotherapy. Our financial condition was fragile, but Dr. Lokhande informed us that Chemotherapy & Radiation therapy could be included in the Government scheme. The staff at Onco-life were very kind & supportive, making us feel among family. The doctors & nurses care about each patient & try their best to put patients & their families at ease. The treatment, facilities, accommodation, etc. are very good. When my daughter showed similar symptoms towards the end of my treatment, I suggested Onco-life to her. She too has completed her treatment & is fully recovered now. I am very grateful to the doctors & staff at Onco-life Cancer Centre.

The social work that Onco Life has started is really commendable.The reason for writing like this is because my brother Shri.Abhijit Suresh Durve. He was suffering from Cancer, problem started in the year 2018-19. We then admitted him to Yashwant Hospital, Doctor asked for surgery brain tumor. Even after nearly 13 hours of surgery, he lost his sight in 2019 and then stopped walking. He became very serious then we admitted him to Ajinkyatara Hospital. There, Dr. Tapase suggested us to go to Onco Life. When we brought him to the OncoLife, Dr. Siddhesh Sir reassured us. He gave him a very nice treatment. The specialty of this hospital is that it gives us a mixture of love and affection in the treatment. The hospital staff Doctors, Nurses, Care Takers and Radiation team cooperated a lot. We thankful to them for all this, Today, on July 14, I took him to the hospital again but on his own foot. It was very heartwarming to see this moment, I remembered the day I brought him for the first time and I am very happy to see him walking today. My father was diagnosed with Bone cancer which led to our family members getting worried & stressed. After some research, we got to know about this hospital & decided to meet Dr. Ravi Wategaonkar for the same. Since we are not from a well to do background, costs of cancer treatment was worrisome. Since the hospital has MJPJAY Scheme facility, it was a boon for us. We didn't have to pay any money & all the treatment was covered under the scheme. The quality of care & attentional here is phenomenal. In all my lifetime, I have never seen any hospital treating patients & us this nicely. Now my father is feeling much better. The hospital has focussed highly on its cleanliness standards. The staff is very co-operative. Seeing this hospital has truly motivated me to pursue for further education in Nursing & eventually become a male nurse & serve patients & humanity. When I arrived at this hospital for the first time, I wondered how could poor people like us afford treatment at this hospital? When i was brought to the hospital for the first time,I couldn't walk at all. I used a wheelchair. After taking the suggested treatment by Oncologists here, I am now able to walk properly like a normal person & feeling much better than before.Our all treatment has been paid by MJPJAY scheme with the hospital's help only & i am very grateful to this hospital for everything they have done for me. I am a resident of Mumbai because of my job. I had one small tumor in my mouth & went to Manavta Curie Hospital (Borivali). After surgery, there were no diagnosis for the same. A few months later there was a recurrence & I met the doctor again but plainly refused to treat me any further. I went to KEM hospital, Mumbai but they asked to me get treated in TATA Memorial Hospital. I got admitted in TATA for 12 days but they hadn't started any treatment. Out of utter frustration, I asked for a discharge. After some days, I got a call from TATA Memorial Hospital asking me to get admitted again for surgery. Same thing happened again. After over a week of admission & no surgery, I took voluntary discharge and came to my village satara.

I completed my Chemotherapy treatment somewhere in early 2018. When i was diagnosed with cancer, i was very fearful & anxious of coming to the hospital. Coming to a cancer hospital can be very scary but at Onco-Life Cancer Centre, the staff & doctors were so warm & kind. They counselled me so well. The counselors were constantly talking to me & trying to help me remove my mental fear. Being from a poor background, i thought i would not be able to afford the treatment looking at all the posh facilities they had. But i got treated under MJPJAY scheme free of cost. Now i am cured of cancer & asked to do my routine follow-ups. One of my friend named Tanaji Kade too underwent treatment here & is cured too. I am a Breast Cancer Survivor. When i had my first baby boy, There was a tumor detected in my Breast. I was asked to get a surgery done.Post Surgery we came to know that it was just a fibroid. It was a relief but didn't last really long. After 3 months, i again had a recurrence. After tests, there was a tumor detected again & our surgeon from other hospital insisted me on getting the Breast removed to which we agreed. In 2015 the Surgery took place & my Breast was removed. Shortly after, again i had a recurrence & that is when i started losing hope & started becoming more anxious. I then opted for natural therapy of Ayurveda & homeopathy. It didn't help. In-fact after some months it had grown to a great extent. My doctor then recommended me to get Radiation Therapy started with immediately. I was asked to visit Onco-Life Cancer Centre. I had gone there with minimal hope due to constant recurrence. The Radiation Oncologist there & Chairman Mr. Uday Deshmukh explained to us the diagnosis & treatment in detail. Mr. Uday Deshmukh also helped us with financial aspect as we were short of funds. It was a great help. Never seen anyone do that. The People in hospital were very sweet & co-operative. Being a new hospital back then, yet the management was smooth with its operations. Its been over 4 years now i have had no recurrence & doing my follow-ups as per their guidance. I am very thankful to Onco-Life & everyone associated with it from the bottom of my heart.

Getting to know that you are diagnosed with third stage Breast cancer can be really traumatizing. Your mind tends to attract all sorts of negative thoughts in its head & you feel helpless & powerless at that point. Recovering from such a mental trauma is very difficult. Everyone in the hospital is always smiling & its a delight to watch them so positive & full of enthusiasm. The doctors do always inquire of our health which feels good. The doctors gave us all the information which was needed which removed fear from our mind about cancer. Observing the staff's work, they are pretty disciplined & professional. I was weighing only 23 kgs when i was detected & was advised surgery by Dr. Manoj Lokhande. The surgery & post Surgery procedure all went smoothly. Its been over 2 years now & i am cancer free. I weigh 52 kgs now & am perfectly healthy & happy. Onco- Life Cancer Centre has been a blessing to us. Disease Name: Breast Cancer Stage 3 I was diagnosed with third stage Breast Cancer in March 2016. I underwent surgery post which i had to take 6 chemo cycles & 25 radiation cycles. During August 2018 i underwent PET/CT Scan & it was observed that i am totally cancer free. Dr. Manoj Lokhande, My husband Laxman & my son Rohit Nayak were the main pillars who helped me to bravely fight against Cancer. Earlier, being 3rd stage i had a notion that i wouldn't ever get well or survive this. Doctor Manoj Lokhande also provided me with moral support & counseling which helped me to get out of this horrible situation sooner. The hospital staff took great care of me & ensured that i was comfortable throughout my stay here. The surrounding of the hospital is so scenic that it seldom felt like i was in a hospital. Importantly, I am now working with Onco-Life Cancer Centre as an employee (Patient Counselor) & constantly share my experience with the patients, trying to build their confidence & faith which helped me during my journey.

15 मे पासून मला मुखाच्या कॅन्सरचा त्रास सुरू झाला. माझे ऑन्को लाइफ कॅन्सर सेंटर मध्ये ऑपरेशन झाले ते साधारण सकाळी 10:00 वाजल्यापासून ते 4:30 पाच पर्यंत सुरू होते हे डॉक्टर दिग्विजय पाटील यांनी केले. सर्व हॉस्पिटल स्टाफ डॉक्टर्स यांनी खूप सहकार्य केले. कॅन्सर म्हटलं की जवळजवळ 75 टक्के लोक घाबरून जातात. या गोष्टीला घाबरले नाही पाहिजे. हिम्मत, जसे देशाच्या बॉर्डरवर फौजी जसा हिमतीने काम करतो तसे प्रत्येकाने आपले जीवन हिम्मतीने लढले पाहिजे. माझे ऑपरेशन होऊन खूप वर्ष झाले जेव्हा माझे ऑपरेशन झाले त्यावेळी शेतीत आले आणि लसूण लावले होते. माझ्या घरच्यांनी कोणी मला साथ दिली नाही फक्त माझ्या पत्नी माझ्यासोबत होती. हॉस्पिटल मधून जेव्हा माझा डिस्चार्ज झाला मी घरी गेलो काही दिवसानंतर मला परत सेप्टिक झालं परत मला हॉस्पिटलमध्ये ऍडमिट केलं गेलं. पंधरा दिवस मी परत ऍडमिट होतो. डिस्चार्ज झाल्यानंतर मी शेतात काम करायचं. शेतात पपई लावली होती मी शेतात काम करायचं व नंतर मंडईमध्ये विकायचं आता मला काहीही त्रास नाही. मी कोरोनाची तीन डोस घेतले. पहिल्या दोन डोसला मला काहीही त्रास झाला नाही. तिसऱ्या बूस्टर डोसला माझे गुडके कंबर पाय दुखायला सुरुवात झाली. तरीही मी शेतात जात होतो. मी सकाळी मोटरसायकल वरून साडेनऊ दहा वाजता शेतात जातो व दुपारी एक वाजता घरी येतो. घरी येऊन जेवण करतो परत चहा घेऊन मी शेतात जातो. या आजाराला पथ्य पाळेल तेवढं चांगलं आहे. पथ्य म्हणजे तुम्ही मटण अंडी खाऊ शकता पण मासे म्हणजे खाऊ शकत नाही. भोपळा खाऊ शकत नाही. मी सर्व पथ्य पाळलेली आहेत आणि आता मी ह्या घडीला तुमच्यासमोर ठणठणीत बसून बोलत आहे. वयामानानुसार व बूस्टर डोस घेतल्यापासून माझे दोन्ही खुबे आणि दोन्ही गुडघे दुखतात. माझे वय 70 वर्ष आहे आणि आता मी डॉक्टरांकडे गेलो तर ते बोलतात MRI काढायला पाहिजे ECG काढा एक्स-रे करा पण त्यातून आपण आपली हिम्मत हारून बसलो तर आजार अजून वाढतो. त्यामुळे आपण चालत राहायचं तुमच्या सर्वांच्या आशीर्वादाने मी या ठिकाणी उपस्थित आहे ठणठणीत आणि व्यवस्थित आहे. धन्यवाद

सर्वात प्रथम डॉ राजे महाडिक सर, डॉ मोतलींग मॅडम, तेजल मॅडम सर्वांचे आभार मानते. 2016 मध्ये एप्रिलमध्ये मला कॅन्सर डिटेक्ट झाला तेव्हा मला काहीही माहित नव्हतं. तेव्हा जेमतेम नवं हॉस्पिटल झालं होतं मी याची जाहिरात रेडिओ ऐकली होती. तेव्हा मला असं जाणवत होतं चेकअप करावं असं वाटत होतं काहीतरी गडबड आहे. मी माझ्या मिस्टरांना रोज बोलायचे जाऊन त्या हॉस्पिटलमध्ये चौकशी करून या ते बोलायचे तुझ्या डोक्यात काहीतरी येत. रेडिओवर जाहिरात ऐकली आणि तुला असं वाटायला लागलं. मी बोलले तिथे जाऊन तरी या मी नंतर चौकशी केली व हॉस्पिटल मधून मला शुक्रवारी यायला सांगितलं आले शुक्रवारी मी चेकअप झालं मला तेव्हा काही सांगितलं नाही डॉक्टर बोलले तीन दिवसांनी रिपोर्ट येतील तीन दिवसानंतर रिपोर्ट आले तेव्हा मला समजलं थर्ड स्टेजवर माझा कॅन्सर होता कोरेगाव च्या डॉक्टर लोखंडे होते तेव्हा ते इथे नव्हते मी तिथे जाऊन डॉक्टर लोखंडे यांना भेटले सर्वात आधी माझा बेस तिथून सुरुवात झाला. त्यांनी मला सांगितलं आत्ता तुमचं जितकं वय आहे तितकच तुम्ही पुढे जगू शकता बिलकुल चिंता करू नका. तुम्ही यातून अगदी खणखणीत बऱ्या होऊ शकता आणि तिथे मला असं वाटलं मी होऊ शकते बरी डॉक्टर सांगतायेत म्हणजे मी नक्की बरी होऊ शकते आणि त्यानंतर मी ट्रीटमेंटला सुरुवात केली केस केले .सहा महिने सफर केलं सर्व त्यावेळी मोतलींग मॅडम पण होत्या, उदय सरांनी पण फार मदत केली. लोखंडे सर यांनीच माझं ऑपरेशन केलं. माझं लक असं की मला तिथे सांगितलं आणि माझे कीमो स्टार्ट झाले त्यावेळेस लोखंडे सर इथे जॉईन झाले. त्यानंतर सहा महिन्यात मी एकदम बरी झाले. आज साडेसहा वर्ष होतील आज मी एकदम ठणठणीत आहे. मला कोणताही त्रास नाही. मी यातून पूर्णपणे बाहेर आले. त्यानंतर एक वर्ष मी ह्या हॉस्पिटलमध्ये कौन्सिलिंग याचेही काम केलं. आणि आत्ता सुद्धा मी अभिमानाने सांगते. जे जुने पेशंट आहेत ते मला अजूनही फोन करतात मॅडम तुम्ही कशा आहात आम्ही पण छान आहोत मला याचा फार अभिमान वाटतो. मी सुद्धा ऑन्को लाइफ कॅन्सर सेंटर ह्या हॉस्पिटलचा एक भाग आहे इथले लोक मला अजून सुद्धा विसरले नाहीत मी अजूनही लोकांना गाईड करते तुम्ही बिलकुल हिम्मत हारू नका खूप काही गमावल्यासारखं वाटतं असं वाटतं आयुष्य आपलं संपलं की काय पण नाही तुम्ही हिम्मत ठेवली तर तुम्ही शंभर टक्के यातून बाहेर येऊ शकता थँक्यू

नमस्कार मी आबाजी साधू नाळे मु पोस्ट दुधे गावी तालुका फलटण जिल्हा सातारा. मी कृषी विभागामध्ये कृषी सहाय्यक खंडाळा अहिररे गावामध्ये म्हणून २००६ मध्ये कामावर असताना माझी तब्येत थोडी खराब झाली. मला अशक्तपणा जाणवला. यावेळी माझे पाहुणे श्री प्रभाकर अडसूळ यांच्याकडे डाळिंबाच्या बागेच्या विजिटला जात असताना माझ्या काखेमध्ये गाठ आलेली जाणवली. मी त्या डॉक्टरांना दाखवले त्या डॉक्टरांनी पाहिल्यानंतर त्यांनी ते चेक केले त्यांना ती गाठ मोठी व वेगळी जाणवली. त्यानंतर मी घरी गेलो आणि नंतर कामाच्या व्यापात राहिल्या कारणाने माझे त्यावर दुर्लक्ष झाले परत काही दिवसानंतर मी त्यांच्या बागेत विजिट केली तेव्हा त्यांनी परत विचारपूस केली मी त्या गाठीला डॉक्टरांना दाखवल्यामुळे त्यांनी परत ती गाठ पाहिली आणि त्यांनी सांगितले आजच्या आज याचा निर्णय घे , हे थोडं भीतीदायक आहे माझ्या हॉस्पिटलमध्ये ये आपण लगेच यावर उपचार करू. मला तेव्हा ते शक्य नव्हतं म्हणून मी त्यांना सांगितलं मी माझ्या गावी फलटणला जातो व नंतर उपचार करतो. नंतर मी फलटणला डॉ निकम पाटलांच्या हॉस्पिटलमध्ये उपचार घेतले व त्यांनी त्या गाठीचे ऑपरेशन केले आणि ती गाठ तपासायला पाठवली आधीच डॉक्टरांनी सांगितले होते की कदाचित ही गाठ कॅन्सरची असू शकते . मला त्यावेळी असे काही फार वाटले नाही पण नंतर जेव्हा पंधरा दिवसांनी त्या गाठीचे रिपोर्ट आल्यानंतर डॉक्टर निकम पाटील यांनी मला सांगितले की ही गाठ कॅन्सरची आहे त्यानंतर मला भीती निर्माण झाली. घरात पैशाची अडचण असल्यामुळे मला पुढे काय करावे हे समजत नव्हतं. मला डॉक्टरांनी सांगितले घाबरू नको कॅन्सर बरा होऊ शकतो फक्त तू धैर्य ठेव कॅन्सर हा चौथ्या स्टेज चा होता. मला तेव्हा डॉक्टरांनी भीती घातली नाही. डॉक्टरांनी मला सांगितले जर जरी कॅन्सर चौथ्या स्टेटचा असला तरी तू पूर्णपणे बरा होऊ शकतो हे बोलल्यावर मी डॉक्टरांना सांगितले मला फक्त मार्ग सांगा. मला डॉक्टरांनी रुबी हॉस्पिटल ला जायला सांगितले तिथे डॉ मिनीश जैन यांचे उपचार मी घेतले. तिथे डॉ मिनीश जैन यांनी मला ज्या ज्या गोष्टी सांगितल्या त्या मी केल्या. ती ट्रीटमेंट व्यवस्थित घेतल्यानंतर मला साधारणपणे २००९ पर्यंत ह्या ट्रीटमेंट मध्ये राहावं लागलं यानंतर मी व्यवस्थित झालो व कामावर रुजू झालो. डॉक्टरांनी मला फॉलोअप घेण्यासाठी सांगितले आणि तू बरा झाला आहेस असे सांगितले यानंतर मी फलटणला बदली करून घेतली आणि घराजवळ सर्विस करू लागलो. काही दिवसानंतर पुन्हा मला दुसऱ्या काखेमध्ये लहानशी गाठ जाणवली मी पुन्हा डॉक्टर मिनीश जैन यांच्याकडे गेलो त्यांनी पुन्हा गाठ तपासली व ती नंतर कॅन्सरचीच गाठ होती. तेव्हा तिथे मला ट्रीटमेंट घ्यायला पैसे नसल्याकारणाने मी इन्शुरन्स मिळवला मी त्या डॉक्टरांना इन्शुरन्स मध्ये उपचार करा याची विनंती केली. तो कालावधी हा 2017 होता. तेव्हा मी त्या डॉक्टरांना इन्शुरन्स मध्ये उपचार करण्याची विनंती केली. पण त्यांनी नकार दिला मला त्या हॉस्पिटलमध्ये इन्शुरन्स मध्ये ट्रीटमेंट मिळाली नाही. मी दुसरीकडे शोध घेत राहिलो. काही दिवसांनी माझ्या मित्रांनी शेंद्रेला नवीन हॉस्पिटल असल्याची माहिती दिली. मी तेव्हा ऑन्को लाइफ कॅन्सर सेंटर इथे भेट दिली डॉक्टर मोतलिंग मॅडम यांना मी भेटलो त्यांना मी माझी अडचण सांगितली. त्यांना मी मला इन्शुरन्स मध्ये उपचार करायची विनंती केली. त्यांनी होकार दिला व नंतर माझी डॉक्टर वाटेगावकर सर यांच्याकडे ट्रीटमेंट सुरू झाली 2017 मध्ये मी सहा ते सात महिने ट्रीटमेंट घेतली. आज मी एकदम बरा आहे. आज मी पूर्वीसारखा जसा मी 2006 मध्ये होतो त्या पद्धतीची माझी शारीरिक क्षमता झाली. लोकांना असे वाटते की कॅन्सर झाला म्हणजे फार मोठं काहीतरी झालं असे न समजता वातावरणात झालेल्या बदला प्रमाणे ते स्वीकारून लोकांनी कॅन्सरची भीती न घेता कॅन्सर बरा होऊ शकतो. त्यासाठी ज्या लागणाऱ्या ट्रीटमेंट आहेत तसेच सुरुवातीला आपण काळजी घ्यायला हवी प्रायमरी स्टेजमध्ये जेव्हा आपल्याला समजते कॅन्सर झाला आहे त्यावर लगेच निष्काळजीपणा न करता उपचार घ्यावेत. पूर्णपणे हॉस्पिटलमध्ये जाऊन डॉक्टरांचा सल्ला घेऊन ट्रीटमेंट घेतली तर आपण कॅन्सरवर निश्चितपणे मात करू शकतो. याचे मी स्वतः ज्वलंत उदाहरण आहे. माझ्या 92 वर्षीय आई-वडिलांना भीती होती की कॅन्सर मुळे मी जगू शकेल की नाही. परंतु मी माझा स्वतःचा कॉन्फिडन्स ठेवला होता की मला ह्या लोकांचं सर्व करायचे आहे त्यामुळे मी मारणार नाही हे मी ठरवलं होत व समोर जे येईल त्यावर उपाय करायचे याचे प्रयत्न मी करत होतो आणि हे सर्व करण्यात मी जिंकलो. धन्यवाद
