We had to surgically open her tummy from top to bottom. We found a huge mass weighing approximately 15kgs. The size of 25x30x35 cm sent for Frozen section which was reported later as a borderline tumour. We performed complete surgery for Ovarian Cancer. Post-operative Patient’s recovery was uneventful and smooth. 2 days the patient started consuming soft diet & she was discharged on the 6th day without any complications & healed sutures.
Final Histopathology Report (Post Operation) is an ovarian mucinous cystic tumour of borderline malignancy Summary: This Financially weak lady, Not having money to operate, hence she delayed her diagnosis & through our awareness campaign she got to know about Onco-Life Cancer Centre & visited our centre. We Decided to operate her at a very reasonable cost. Post operation she said that “Doctor, you have removed the burden of my life & now I feel very much relieved, light & very comfortable. She can now perform all her activities like a normal person without any trouble.
